Put Life Back In Your Life
Better Choices, Better Health® Workshop, developed at Stanford University, can help you get back in charge of your life.
Designed for people who live with chronic conditions, such as arthritis, diabetes, and heart disease, the program helps you to decrease fatigue, exercise more, expand self-confidence and improve your health.
Led by Kathy Henderson and Kosta Somalos, trained facilitators from Surrey Senior Services, participants address topics such as fatigue, sleep, pain, shortness of breath, stress reduction, nutrition, planning for the future, and learning how to evaluate new treatment options.
Participants in past programs have seen significant improvements in their health and well-being that translated into fewer outpatient visits and hospitalizations.
Plush Mills Senior Living will host the six week program, which begins on April 12th at 1:30. Take all six or jump in at any time – you may attend as many as you like. For more information and to register, call Donna Kokol at 610-690-1630.
The program is free and open to the public.
