Sage: wisdom and enhancement.

Sage refers to a person of great wisdom and insight. So it's a fitting name for a company established by four people with more than 60 years combined experience in senior living management. Kelly Cook Andress, Susan Eckert, Dick Kendall, and Gunnar Plake left top positions in the corporate world to create Plush Mills as an alternative to the institutionalized ownership and management of senior housing facilities by large, publicly traded firms.

Sage focuses instead on personal attention, bringing the highest possible quality of senior living directly to residents in small, exclusive communities like Plush Mills—places where residents can speak directly to one of the Sage partners and know that their needs and wishes will be heard and acted upon.

As sage is also an herb, a natural flavor enhancer, so Sage Senior Living seeks to enhance the lives of seniors, with dignity and independence, respect and vigor. Plush Mills is a beautiful, welcoming, clean, and nurturing environment, full of the energy and excitement of real people helping each other to live fulfilling lives.
