We are active members of our community.  Many of our residents and employees have deep roots in the surrounding area.  We support local organizations by sponsoring special events and activities for, among others, Wallingford's Community Arts Center and Helen Kate Furness Free Library, and Swarthmore's ABC House.

The young people who work in our dining room invite their "adopted grandparents" to their high school musicals (we sent two vanloads to see ANNIE at Cardinal O'Hara High School).  The high school students even come by Plush Mills en route to their proms so everyone can see them in their finery.

Whether it's going out into the community, or welcoming neighbors into Plush Mills at our Sunday open houses, special seminars or activites, we are very connected to the world around us.
